John Goto is a British artist who is best known for his photo-digital artworks, where he loads his images on to a computer and using a programme like photoshop to cut different elements from his images and merging them into another image, to create something completely different.

Pasturelands, 2000-2001.

My image is something similar to this in the way that i have taken elements from some of the photographs that i took when i was on holiday down south and edited them into a landscape image from within Burton. There are many differences between my work and John Gotos images for example my images is black and white and the majority of his work is done in colour. The work Goto creates usually focuses mainly on some of the issues that have gone on in society at the time of the image being created, my image is currently just an experiment, i like how you can take a group of images that are completely unrelated and mix them up to create something completely different and interesting.
