Jill Cole photographer, photo canopy.

Wednesday 18th January 2012,
Jill Cole came in to talk about her work over the past year within The National Forest.  She lives and works in North Yorkshire, when we first met Jill Cole her work revolved around humanely catching birds so that she could photograph them. She became involved with the photo canopy project when she was approached   by Chris Beech and asked to be the artist in residence, she says this project has helped to develop coherence in her work. she showed us a set of ten images to help us get a feel for what her work looks like.
Below are a selection of the images she has currently uploaded to her website from previous projects.

write and fold task. Photo montage.

For this task we were asked to create a photograph that involves a certain amount of different words.
We were asked to get these words by doing something similar to the consequences game where one person wrote a word then folded the paper and somebody else wrote the next word and so on and so forth.

We had to incorporate five different things and they were.
1. Write down the name of a colour
2. Write down the name of an object
3. Write down a random word
4. Write down a line of your favourite lyrics.
5. Write down a number.

the answers i got were,
1. Pink,
2, Roundabout,
3. Chilli,
4. 'Amazing just the way you are' from Bruno Mars' song amazing.
5. my number is 7.

It took me a while to try and work out how i was going to take this photograph, and i puzzled and puzzled for ages before a came up with the image i have now.
its not very good but with the time i had its the best i could do and as i was not sure how i was going to do it i literally just threw this image together.
